Graduation!!!!
Graduation for the Class of 2010 is Friday, May 28, at 7:00pm. Congratulations to our Senior Class: Matt Bailey, Tori Borg, Shaun Boyle, Broc Christiansen, Kristin DeKock, Jacey Eyre, Bridget Grahmann, James Hale, Rebecca Horak, Evan Horwood, Connor Howard, Mark Jung, Rebecca Murphy, Rebekah Nellermoe, Breegan O’Connor, Jimmy Parker, Ben Petersen, Shad Spurgin, Allison Tripp, Ashleigh Watson, Samantha Webster, Kindle Werner. Doors will open at 6:00pm. Seats may not be reserved before the doors open. One member of your party must be present to hold seats.
New ICS Website
The new ICS website will be available starting tomorrow, May 18th. Please check us out at www.slcics.org. Take some time and become familiar with all that we have posted. We will be including summer reading, supply lists, sports information, calendars, and more. You can also view the ICS promotional DVD.
Last Day of School
Next Friday, May 28th is the last day of this school year. Please be aware of the following:
· School dismisses at 12:15pm for 1st-12th grade.
· There will be no adult supervision after 12:30pm. Please pick up your students on time.
· There is no after school care available.
Job Openings
Elementary Art Teacher – Part Time, 3 hours 2 days a week
Intermountain Christian School is currently accepting applications for an Elementary Art Teacher. This position requires the applicant to be a Christian and have an elementary teaching certificate. Parent Service Hours Opportunity
The library needs volunteers to help with end-of-school tasks. Help is needed May 17-28 during school hours. The greatest needs are the last week of school, and especially, Thurs, May 27. Check our website for more Parent Service Hours opportunities.
Cookbooks Have Arrived
The Cookbooks have arrived and are full of lots of great recipes from the families of ICS. The cost is $13 each or $30 for 3. Remember those of you who contributed recipes receive $1 off.

High School Music, Academic Awards, and Art Program
The High School Academic Awards program is Tues, May 18 at 6:00pm. Following the Academic Awards Program will be the High School Music program at 7:00pm. MS/HS Art will be displayed so come early and view all of the projects. The students have worked hard all year and we are proud of their accomplishments. Parents will be notified if their child is receiving an award.
Senior Parent Night
Parents of Seniors are invited to a night of celebration on Mon. May 17 at 7:00pm. This will be a night of looking back and looking forward. There will be videos and presentations. Mark your calendars for this important night.
High School Party
Fri. May 28th from 8:30-12:00 noon the High School students will be going to Flat Iron Mesa Park for a water day. Students should bring appropriate swim wear, Utaba dress code.
8th Grade Graduation
8th Grade Graduation and Middle School Awards presentation are Friday May 28 at 10:00 in the auditorium. This is a wonderful time of celebrating the accomplishments of our 8th graders as they move into high school. Graduation dress code applies. Middle School Yearbook
This year’s Middle School Yearbook will be on sale the last day of school for $10 each. You must have your money with you if you want to purchase one on May 28th. Please call Mrs. Coleman if you have any questions at 801-365-0357.
Middle School Events
The 5th-8th grade classes will be going to Lagoon on Fri. May 21st. They leave at 8:30am and return at 3:15pm. The cost is $26 for students or adults. If you would like to drive or have any questions please call Mrs. Coleman @ 801-365-0357
The 6th-8th grade classes will be having a Service Project Day on Thurs. May 27th. They leave at 12:00pm and then go to a swim party and barbecue from 3:30-5:30pm at Dimple Dell Rec.
